Storytime

The weather outside did not stop us from enjoying another great storytime!! This week we stuck with our alphabet theme when we explored A is for Alligator. We had many laughs when Mr. Chompers joined us just to have 5 pesty monkeys tease him.

We had such a fun time with our first Storytime of the spring!!  We had 40+ people attend this cold morning session, but it was sure fun to see everyone together again.  Join us next week when we look at the letter A.

Yesterday was a silly but sad Storytime. We had a great time exploring numbers, making tons of silly faces and “reading” Pete the with the flannel board.   It was also a bit sad as it was our last Storytime of the spring and many of our regulars will be in Kindergarten next fall L  With it being the last session of the spring we drew and gave away our Tickle Monster Kit and Boogey Monster Kit!  Congratulations to our big winners – Samuel Y. and Christopher R.  A huge thank you to Pastor Barb, Marian S. and Viktoriia S. for volunteering.  Hope to see everyone this summer!!!

Monkey’s were our theme this week. We started out singing and dancing for a couple of songs. We then listened to the Tickle Monster book. Thank you to Caleb R. and Keegan L. for helping me be the Tickle Monster. Then we listened to a couple stories and made our own monkey hangers. Thank you to Pastor Barb and Marian for helping us out during Storytime. Join us nest Thursday when we explore numbers. We also had Raider Vision here during most of the Storytime so be sure to stay tuned to that to see the fun we had! Next week will be our last Storytime of the season so we hope to see you there!!!

 

ABC’s was our theme today. We started out singing and dancing for a couple of songs. The kids loved using instruments for Alabama Mississippi!!! Then we listened to a couple stories including Z is for Moose. We then did some alphabet exercising and made alphabet books to take home. The weather outside might have been frightful, but it didn’t stop us from enjoying our last Storytime of the year. Thank you to all that braved the weather and joined us.  We sang a couple of songs about fall, read three stories and then made our fall tree decorations.  At the end we drew for our big giveaway…The Tickle Monster and Boogie Monster kits.  Congratulations to Keegan L. and Caleb R.
